Doing the Right Thing
Positive Workplace Culture
Begins with an Effective
Response to Harassment Claims

See our offer below for a free, no-obligation copy of our Anti-Harassment Policy and Acknowledgement Form.

The national conversation about workplace sexual harassment is a wake up call for employers everywhere.

The message? Take the appropriate measures to create, nurture and communicate an environment free of harassment, hostility and retaliation for bringing a complaint by establishing an effective anti-harassment policy and culture. This includes creating proper protocols for alleging sexual harassment, adequately investigating those claims, taking necessary action to prevent and punish wrongdoers, and ongoing training for managers.

The consequences of failure? At best, devastated morale and often irrevocable damage to reputation, recruitment and retention—in other words, your ability to attract, keep and motivate the best and brightest in your industry. At worst, lingering victimization from the unchecked abuse by offenders and the growing likelihood of bankruptcy-proportion judgments at the corporate and often individual levels.

A reliable anti-harassment policy clearly spells out an absolute zero tolerance for unlawful employee harassment. This includes clear examples of what constitutes prohibited conduct, especially sexual harassment, complaint procedures and punishment. Further, employers must train managers regularly on what constitutes harassment and how to respond to allegations appropriately.

As part of our mission to support Texas employers, Handbook Hero offers our full Anti-Harassment policy, available in all of our handbook editions, free of charge with no obligation. This includes an Acknowledgement page employees sign and date indicating they've read and understand the policy. Contact us today and reference "Anti-Harassment Policy" in your comments to receive your free copy.

This isn't a limited-time special but rather a standing offer to help Texas employers create a positive and enriching culture where employees can do their best work free of harassment and emotional distress, and employers can focus on growing their business and taking comfort in knowing they're doing the right thing.
